Information on individuals released from the Police Department is subject to limitations of Federal and State law. If you would like to request a Records checks on an individual or request an incident report you maybe do so by visiting or calling the Records Division of the Police Department Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm or submit your request online: Public Portal
When requesting a records check, please be prepared to provide the person's first and last name, as well as their middle initial and date of birth. The records check only contains a list of contacts the person has had with the Eau Claire Police Department. We do not run background checks on individuals.
