The Green Waste Facility on Jeffers Road provides an environmentally friendly solution for City of Eau Claire residents to dispose of brush, grass clippings, and leaves.

- Mondays: 10:00AM - 6:00PM
- Wednesdays: 10:00AM - 6:00PM
- Saturdays: 8:00AM - 3:00PM
- Typically, the brush site is open mid-April to mid-November, depending on weather.
- Who Can Use the Brush Site?
- The Green Waste Facility on Jeffers Rd is designed to be used by residents of the City of Eau Claire using the pay-as-you-go rates or a season pass.
- *NEW* Eau Claire County residents can utilize the pay-as-you-go fees; however, no season passes are available at this time for County residents.
- NO COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

- Pay as you go fees:
- $1.00 per 30-gallon biodegradable bag
- $15.00 - 6 foot truck bed
- $20.00 - 8 foot truck bed
- $35.00 - 8' x 12' trailer, or smaller
- $7.00 per cubic yard for trailers larger than 8' x 12'
- Season Pass:
- $45.00 - unlimited leaf/brush use for the season for City of Eau Claire residents (no commercial use, not available for County residents at this time)
- Compost for sale (bring your own bucket/container)
- $1.00 per 5-gallon bucket
- $40 per cubic yard
- Pay as you go fees:
- Payments
- At Brush Site: Credit Card or Check accepted, no cash

- Available for purchase at the Brush Site during regular operating hours (Credit Card or Check accepted, no cash)
- Available for purchase at 910 Forest Street. Hours open: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm. (Credit Card, Check, or cash accepted)

Acceptable items to bring to the site:
The following items are accepted:
- Yes - Biodegradable paper bags
- Yes - Brush under 6” diameter and 12’ length
- Yes - Grass clippings, leaves, pine needles, and garden plants
The following items are NOT accepted:
- No - Building or landscape materials
- No - Dirt
- No - Food, animal, or household waste
- No - Metal or appliances
- No - Plastic bags or planters
- No - Rocks, pavers, bricks, ceramic, glass, or boulders
- No - Treated wood (timbers, wood chips, RR ties, etc.)
- No - Trees, stumps, brush over 6” diameter and 12’ length
When unloading, separate grass clippings/leaves from woody brush materials and dispose of in the designated areas.
Wood chips are available for pick up at no charge. Hand load only, no machines. Not for commercial use.
