Join us in celebrating Independence Day with a fireworks extravaganza, choreographed to patriotic music that can be heard on local radio stations.
Show starts July 4, at 10:05 p.m.
Every effort will be made to have the fireworks show. Keep your families safety and comfort in mind when considering whether to attend in less-than-ideal weather. The Madison Street bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning at 6:30 p.m. on July 4 to accommodate viewing. This detour has been coordinated with area hospitals and emergency personnel. WEAU-TV 13 will be on the bridge broadcasting the fireworks show.

CLOSURES and Parking Restrictions
The High Bridge trail will be closed to pedestrian/bicycle/all traffic beginning at 6 a.m. on July 4, 2023 and will re-open the next morning.
The Madison Street Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic from 6:30 p.m. on July 4 until midnight. Vehicle traffic should follow posted detour signs, which will direct people using Farwell and Dewey south to the Lake Street bridge, then north using 5th Avenue.
1st Street - approximately two blocks of 1st Street near the High Bridge will be posted No Parking beginning in the afternoon of July 4th.
Chippewa Valley Railroad - open July 4, from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
