Eau Claire

Where river meets river and friend meets friend;

and over them both the heavens bend,

Where the woods are green and the hills are fair;

and the air is cool...well, that's Eau Claire!

Yes, that's Eau Claire on a summer's day;

where the wildbird sings and the breezes play,

And a welcome waits at the journey's end;

where river meets river and friend meets friend.

- Edwin Boberg, Eau Claire resident 1920's
