You're invited to a free Narcan training and opioid workshop on Wednesday, August 28 from 5:30-7pm in Eau Claire. The workshop comes a few days before International Overdose Awareness Day, a day to remember loved ones lost to overdose and acknowledge the grief of family and friends left behind.

Private well owners in Eau Claire County can be considered for free drinking water PFAS testing

The Health Department is partnering with researchers from UW-Eau Claire to offer a limited number of free private well water tests for PFAS, commonly referred to as “forever chemicals.” The expanded effort to research PFAS in Eau Claire County is prompted by new findings in some private wells.
