The Cannery District is Eau Claire's newest Downtown District. Situated along the west bank of the Chippewa River north of Madison Street and south of the High Bridge, the Cannery District is envisioned to be a maker's district, composed of new and future mixed-use development, improved streets, and a robust parks collection. 

The parks collection in Cannery District is currently under design development. Basing the overall vision on the preliminary 2017 and 2019 planning efforts, the current process is taking a deeper dive into designing parks for all.
