With the recent approval of Pfizer for 5–11-year-olds, the Health Department is collaborating with schools, healthcare and pharmacy partners, and others to ensure that parents have reliable information about the COVID-19 vaccine for kids, as well as easy access to vaccine clinics.

The COVID-19 vaccine is now available in Wisconsin for children aged 5-11 years old. To meet the increased demand for adult boosters and 5–11-year-old vaccines, a regional community vaccination site at Jacob’s Well in Lake Hallie, WI is expanding their hours of operation.

The Health Department is offering FREE flu shots to youth ages 6 months- 18 years and COVID-19 vaccine for youth and adults (Pfizer for ages 12+ and J&J for ages 18+) on Saturday, November 6th from 10am-1pm at the Main Street Gym in Augusta.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 23rd from 10am to 2pm in Altoona at the Police Department (1904 Spooner Ave) and in Eau Claire at Marshfield Medical Center-Eau Claire (curbside service at 2116 Craig Rd, Medical Offices, Entrance B. Dropping off medication is anonymous and quick!
