A new community COVID-19 testing site is opening on Tuesday, July 26th in the parking lot at 615 W. Clairemont Ave, next to Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire. Testing is free and individuals can drive, walk, or roll through the site.

The CDC has moved Eau Claire County from a “medium” to “high” COVID-19 level. While the county is at this high level, the CDC, Wisconsin Department of Health Services, and the Eau Claire City-County Health Department strongly recommend people take greater precautions.

Health Dept. is seeking a dog that bit a girl on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022 at approximately 6:55 p.m at the Sundet Park playground. The dog was with a male & female at the time of the incident and can be seen in the press release image. 🔴Anyone with information should call 715-839-4972.

Over the past 14 months, the Health Department has been partnering with area school districts to host on-site vaccination clinics. Health Department staff and volunteers were able to vaccinate 8,270 individuals because of the vaccination clinics at 3 area school districts.
