NEWS RELEASE: New COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing Site Opening July 26

A new community COVID-19 testing site is opening on Tuesday, July 26th in the parking lot at 615 W. Clairemont Ave, next to Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire. Testing is free and individuals can drive, walk, or roll through the site.

NEWS RELEASE 📄 Masking Indoors Strongly Recommended as Eau Claire County Reaches High COVID-19 Level

The CDC has moved Eau Claire County from a “medium” to “high” COVID-19 level. While the county is at this high level, the CDC, Wisconsin Department of Health Services, and the Eau Claire City-County Health Department strongly recommend people take greater precautions.

NEWS RELEASE 📄 Over 8,000 COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Given at Area Schools

Over the past 14 months, the Health Department has been partnering with area school districts to host on-site vaccination clinics. Health Department staff and volunteers were able to vaccinate 8,270 individuals because of the vaccination clinics at 3 area school districts.
