The City of Eau Claire Housing Division is accepting public comments on the proposed funding allocations for projects under the one-time $1.1 million allocation of the HOME American Rescue Plan (ARP) Funding.  The American Rescue Plan (ARP) provides funding to assist individuals or households who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, and other vulnerable populations, by providing housing, rental assistance, supportive services, and non-congregate shelter, to reduce homelessness and increase housing stability across the country.  The Housing Division has received proposals which will provide for the development of affordable housing, as identified in the Housing Division’s 5-year plan and the HOME-ARP Plan. The Housing Division has prepared a substantial amendment to allow sub-recipients to provide a preference for veterans and is accepting public comment on the substantial amendment to the HOME ARP Plan.
