The Eau Claire Fire Prevention Division is responsible for Investigation of fires within the City of Eau Claire. The investigators are uniformed firefighters with specialized education, training, and experience in conducting fire investigations. Prevention personnel work cooperatively with the Eau Claire Police Department and other law enforcement agencies to improve fire investigation outcomes in the Eau Claire community.
