Public Involvement Meeting #2: 9/20/21

A public involvement meeting for official mapping of County Highway T (CTH T) from State Highway 312 (STH 312) to State Highway 29 (STH 29) will be held on Monday, June 28th.

The meeting is being organized by the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, and property owners and interested individuals are invited to attend.

Alternative 1 Selected on 12/15/21

The CTH T Mapping Project group met on December 15, 2021, and selected Alternative 1 overall to move forward with official mapping. This information is being brought forward to the County Boards for presentation.

Moving Forward...What's Next?

A consultant will now complete the proposed mapping related to Alternative 1. The official mapping amendment process affects land use so it must originate within Plan Commission or at least be referred to the Plan Commission. The City of Eau Claire often brings issues to begin at the Plan Commission; the Plan Commission then acts upon the item and moves it on with or without their recommendation to the City Council.

Official mapping is controlled by state law under s. 62.23(6), Wisconsin Statutes.
