A New Public Outdoor Space

The City of Eau Claire is in the planning stages of creating a new public outdoor space between City Hall and the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library. Public Involvement

Project Phase I

This is the first phase of a multi-year project ultimately resulting in a new Library Plaza bridging the areas between City Hall and the Library. It will give residents and visitors another public space in which to enjoy two of Eau Claire’s most valuable resources - its library and our beautiful trail and parks system.

December 2020 Public Outreach

Online Open House

The public was invited to attend an online Open House on Wednesday, 12/09/20 beginning at 4pm to learn about the project's first phase. A presentation by Engineering staff & project architects was given at 4, 5 & 6pm that evening each followed by opportunities for the public to ask questions and provide feedback to staff. 12.09.20 Open House Media Release.pdf

Survey

A survey link was made available to the public throughout the month of December offering the opportunity to provide feedback to the City of Eau Claire staff & project architects.
