City of Eau Claire moving into the second phase of the Century Code Update project – a process that will shape the future of the community.

The Century Code Update project marks the 100th year anniversary of zoning in the City. To mark the occasion and plan for the next century, Eau Claire is taking a critical eye to all its land development regulations and is in the process of updating and rewriting them to be more user-friendly, integrate graphics, illustrations, tables, and modernize districts and standards. The code update will address pressing community needs such the housing crisis, economic development and city expansion
