Eau Claire Parks and Recreation offers a Scholarship Program for families experiencing low-income. Scholarships can be used to reduce the cost of youth programs and pool passes. Our Scholarship Program is made possible by the generosity of area businesses and community groups. Contact the Recreation Office at 715-839-5032 if you're interested in donating to this program.
Eligibility
Any resident living within the City of Eau Claire boundaries currently receiving Federal, State, or Local assistance is eligible.
Scholarship Program Detailed Guidelines
Applicants will need to show proof of documents in-person at the Recreation Administrative Office or email recscholarships@eauclairewi.gov with the proper documentation including: form, valid photo ID, proof of assistance and proof of address. Twenty-five percent of the pool pass cost will be paid by the family or individual.
Program Registration
Once approved for scholarship eligibility, registration in programs will ensure your spot. Review the programs offered in our Prime Times catalog and pay 25% of each City Resident program fee, exclusions apply to Individual Swim Lessons. The scholarship does not apply to School District discounted fees. Once your account has been approved for the scholarship, you can register for activities online or in-person at the Recreation Administrative Office.
Fairfax Pool Pass
Once approved for scholarship eligibility, season pass rates for the pool are discounted. Visit our Fairfax Pool site to learn more about the pool! If you purchase a Fairfax Pool season pass as a scholarship participant, you must use the pass at least 4 times per season or you will not qualify for a scholarship pass the following season.
