With the recent rise in COVID-19 cases in Eau Claire County, local partners representing business, education, healthcare, and government are jointly urging the Eau Claire community to wear a mask while in public.

✅Beach visitors should maintain at least 6 ft physical distance from people they don’t live with, and cloth face coverings are recommended when not in the water and unable to maintain 6 ft.

The Eau Claire City-County Health Department issued an updated order that will go into effect at 12:00 am on Thursday, July 9th. A harmful algae bloom has been noted. It can be especially harmful to children and pets! Don’t swim, touch, or swallow the water near the algae. Also, avoid boating and fishing near the area. We are continuing to monitor the algae blooms. For beach status, visit: beaches.echealthdepartment.org
