Today, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has adopted the new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) options for reducing quarantine. These options will be implemented by the Eau Claire City-County Health Department beginning Monday, December 7, 2020, as recommended by DHS.

Gov. Tony Evers today declared a new public health emergency as Wisconsin’s hospitals are operating at or very near capacity and healthcare providers are struggling to keep up with the demand for care. An Emergency Order was also issued which extends the face covering requirement until Jan. 19
