🟡WATER QUALITY ADVISORY at Lake Altoona & Lake Eau Claire beaches

A harmful algae bloom has been noted. It can be especially harmful to children and pets! Don’t swim, touch or swallow the water near the algae. Also avoid boating and fishing near the area. We are continuing to monitor the algae blooms.

NEWS RELEASE: Health Department and UWEC Partner on First Community Drive-Through Vaccine Clinic

The final COVID-19 vaccine clinic at UWEC Zorn Arena will be on Wednesday, June 30th from 3pm-7pm. Community vaccine clinics in July are moving to the Health Department and the UWEC Water Street Parking lot, which will be operated as a drive-through and walk-up clinic.
