🔴Riverview Beach remains CLOSED due to unsafe bacteria levels. 🟡Lake Altoona Beach is no longer is closed due to unsafe bacteria levels, however a WATER QUALITY ADVISORY still remains for a harmful algae bloom. 🟡Lake Eau Claire Beach has a WATER QUALITY ADVISORY for a harmful algae bloom.

NEWS RELEASE: Mask indoors as Eau Claire County reaches “substantial” community transmission of COVID-19
New guidance from the CDC released on Tuesday, July 27 recommended masks for everyone, regardless of vaccination status, in areas of substantial or high community transmission. As of today, CDC data show that cases are rising, and Eau Claire County now has a substantial level of disease spread.

🟡WATER QUALITY ADVISORY at Lake Altoona Beach. A harmful algae bloom has been noted. It can be especially harmful to children and pets! Don’t swim, touch or swallow the water near the algae. Also avoid boating and fishing near the area.
